Foundation Bursary and Scholarship Endowment Fund -  £2m target

The Governors have challenged the Foundation to establish a permanent bursaries and scholarships capital endowment of £2 million. Taunton School is not well endowed and, having no investments, currently relies entirely on school fee income to fund such initiatives, funding which should ideally be invested in facilities and teaching.The Foundation has raised £650,000 to date towards its target, establishing 12 new awards. Scholarships and bursaries are essential to the School; they enable talented pupils to attend Taunton who would otherwise be unable to do so. They raise standards as well as the profile of the School, with pupils who attain scholarships achieving external recognition and reward and inspiring others to achieve similar standards.

The Old Pavilion Appeal
Phase 1 - £20k target

The Old Pavilion is in need of a significant overhaul to restore the outside of the building to its former glory.  Support is therefore being sought from OTs to raise the necessary funds to achieve this.
