Objectives and Nature of the Course
This course leads to an AS qualification and will be offered in the Upper 6th only. The course is broadly based and aims to develop an understanding of scientific methods in the study of the environment and of the management of the environment. Four lessons a week will be allocated to classroom teaching and in the remaining four lessons students will be expected to undertake research and extra reading around the subject.
