Each pupil boarding or day, is attached to a House, which is not only the centre for admimistration and recreation, but is also, and most importantly, a pastoral base.
The Housemaster or Housemistress (boarding Houseparents are resident in the House) is primarily responsible for each pupils' daily well-being and progress, and is the fist point of contact for parents - at any time. |
|
The House staff are supported by a House Assistant (boarding House Assistants are also resident in the House) and a team of House tutors.
House Tutors meet their tutorial groups weekly, and these sessions are supplimented by one-to-one meetings and informal chats as required.
The purpose is to offer guidance and advise, and monitor each individual's academic and pastoral development. |
