Leave the M5 at Jct 25. Follow the dual carriageway signed to Taunton Town Centre. Go straight ahead at the traffic lights at the Creech Castle Hotel. Get into the right hand lane and turn right at the next roundabout (Wickes DIY store) and go over the Obridge Viaduct. At the bottom (roundabout) turn left and follow the signs A358 to Minehead. After approximately one and a half miles you will pass Taunton School on your left (playing fields on the right). At the painted mini-roundabout (Staplegrove Inn), turn left. The School entrance is about half a mile on the left hand side (just after the entrance to Taunton Preparatory School). TAUNTON SCHOOL (from Wellington / M5 Jct 26) Leave the M5 at Jct 26. Follow the A38 towards Taunton. After you have driven through ‘Rumwell’, (and past the Rumwell Inn) you will come down a steep hill – on the left is a pub called ‘Stonegallows - The Hungry Horse’ (crematorium on the right). At the foot of this hill is a roundabout – turn left at the roundabout into Silk Mills Road. Continue along this road until you pas the ‘Park and Ride’ and cross the railway bridge. For the main School site – turn first right immediately after the railway bridge (Bindon Road). Go to the end of Bindon Road, turn right – the School entrance is immediately on the left. [For the Playing fields – cross the railway bridge and continue straight ahead. At the end of Silk Mills Road, turn right at the roundabout.
