Year 9 Digital Day

Year 9 pupils took part in the innovative Digital Day programme on Tuesday as part of an ICT initiative. The day saw students working on various projects for their favourite brands, coming up with creative and clever solutions to problems, and learning a whole new skillset.

The days events were supported by the RocketBox Design team, who were on hand to help and to inspire students to consider the world of digital careers.The teams competed in sponsored challenges which ultimately led to the crowning of the ‘Digital Day Champions’: Elen, Kelsy and Zoe. The trio, who designed an app to improve standards of education, also won the elusive winner’s cup.
