Taunton School Main Building at Dusk

The excitement is building!

Posted: 2nd December 2016

As we have moved from November into December, the spirits have soared in Thone House. The collective opening of Advent calendars brought much excitement on the 1st December and the making of paper chains, decorating of Christmas trees and bedrooms has brought the festive spirit alive. Christmas is certainly a time for the children and we are fortunate to share in their joy and anticipation of what is to come. Indeed, in the next few weeks Thone House continues to be a busy place, full of fun and activity.  This weekend we are looking forward to our ‘Get Creative with Christmas Cake’ activity and the trip to Plymouth Dry Ski Slope. This is then followed by a trip to Clarks Village and Hayne’s International Motor Museum.  These activities follow the ever successful trip to @ Bristol which took place last weekend and the ‘It’s Snow Fun’ activity. Throughout the week, Thone House have also spent time swimming, completing prep, making Christmas decorations, playing games in the sports hall and making Peppermint Creams in the cookery room.
