The U13 Girls’ Cricket Team have succeeded in winning Round One of Lady Taverner’s Indoor Cricket tournament.
Held at The Castle School in Taunton on Thursday last week, play took place between Taunton School, The Castle School and King’s Hall.
Taunton School girls chose to field in both games and came away victorious after two exciting matches, winning 69-52 against Castle, and 77-42 against King’s Hall.
Head of Girls Prep Games at Taunton School, Nicola Foad, commented: “Thanks must go to Mr Pete Sanderson for helping us to get ready for this match and coming to support us and also to Mr Marcus Trescothick for helping us at the match.”
