The students at Taunton School International were involved in Samaritan’s Purse: Operation Christmas Child, organised by TSI’s charity representative Yash Gupta from India.
The scheme involved students stockpiling some items that most of us would take for granted, such as toothbrushes, soap and shampoo, alongside toys and other gifts to give to underprivileged children over the Christmas period. For some children this may be the first Christmas gift they have ever received.
Our students and staff have been incredibly humbled to be part of such an amazing operation – all of the students have been extremely generous in their donations with many returning from town laden with gifts to be sent out. Yash and the prefect team were amazing in their organisation and delivery of the scheme to the whole school.
