Miles and miles for Sport Relief

Posted: 23rd March 2018

Having had a non-school uniform day for Sport Relief last Friday, TPS pupils have been hard at work this week in their PE lessons and clubs. Everyone has been taking part in activities and logging their distances on our UK map. Our challenge is to travel the distance from Lands’ End to John O’Groats (874 miles!) in a range of ways, swimming, running, skipping, in the gym and many more. On our first day we complete a total of 115 miles through an indoor sports circuit and swimming. By the end of Wednesday we had hit 488.1 miles. We were able to get outside on the field creating longer distances to travel more miles. On Thursday the Year 7s worked hard in their PE lesson to help boost the total to 653 miles by lunch time… still a little way to go!
Well done to everyone for participating so well, you all really got on board, raised awareness and money towards the charity.
