Sparkle and Fun

Posted: 14th December 2018

As we near the end of the final week, there is lots of sparkle and fun going on throughout the whole of the Nursery and Pre-Prep. Including Mr Riggs’s Snow machine which was of course, such a big hit on Wednesday afternoon.

As we think about the Season of giving, goodwill and Christmas spirit, I wanted to mention our very own Georgia Bowey in N3. There was a piece about Georgia in the Gazette last week, written by a lady who had collapsed on the river bridge. In the piece she thanks the incredibly kind young people who cared for her, called the ambulance, kept her warm and gave first aid. It really was an absolutely lovely testament to Georgia.

I would also like to publicly thank the catering team for our delicious Christmas lunches and all that they do to feed us all so well throughout the year.

Thank you to all the parents who joined us for the Christingle service on Thursday and I do hope that your children enjoyed the visit from Father Christmas on Thursday.

Finally, thank you all for your very generous contributions to our Pre-Prep charity – The Guide Dogs for the Blind. From all our three performances, we have been able to raise a total of £266.00 towards Oscar’s care and training.
Thank you all for your support this term. Enjoy a Christmas to remember with your family and friends. Wishing you all a very Happy New Year, when it arrives.
