Puxton Park and Paintballing for Thone

A truly fabulous weekend for our boarding family. Having enjoyed a Saturday afternoon of Forest School and an ‘Alternative Sports Day’, the Thone boarders were hugely excited about their penultimate weekend trip of the year. Whilst the younger year groups set off for a day of fun and laughter, not to mention quite a bit of water, at Puxton Park, the Year 8’s set out on an adventure of their very own. Mr Wells and Mrs Edwards very kindly, and quite bravely, agreed to accompany the children on a full day of paintballing. What happened that day will be known only by those who were there, but whatever occurred they all returned with enormous smiles on their faces and the odd bruise as testament to their bravery! The weekend culminated with a well-earned roast dinner and a much needed early night. You always know it’s been a good weekend when the children themselves are asking to go to bed early!
