Exeter Chiefs VIP experience

Posted: 12th October 2019

Children playing sport

Students from The Grange campus were lucky enough to have the opportunity to head down to Sandy Park on the 12th October, home of the great Exeter Chiefs Rugby team, and have a VIP experience.

Our students, both boys and girls, trained with the Chiefs in the morning, being put through their paces and learning some premiership winning skills. A tour of the renowned Sandy Park followed, with students being shown the stadium, facilities and the changing rooms with the Exeter Chiefs match shirts all laid out ready for kick off that afternoon.

After a relaxing and leisurely lunch, The Grange students lined up on the pitch to form the Guard of Honour and to clap out the Exeter Chiefs players and their rivals, Bristol Bears. During the match we had pitch side seats and even had the chance to walk around the pitch at half time in a lap of honour. At the end of the game the students were lucky enough to meet the players and even get their autographs.

It was a brilliant day, one that our students will not forget, and made even better by the end result 42-19 to Exeter Chiefs!
