Seventeen pupils from Taunton School travelled to the London Aquatics Centre on the 16th of November to represent the South West in the English Schools’ Swimming Association National Relay competition including Jack, one of our international Students from China. Six relay teams had qualified for National Finals following the Regional Finals in October, and Jack swam as part of the Senior Boys team.

The team had done very well to qualify for the National Finals in the Freestyle Relays in 29th place. Although hit by illness and broken bones, they still managed to improve on their position, finishing 28th in the country. Swimming at the London Aquatic Centre was a great opportunity for all the students and we are extremely proud of their achievements.
