As we end our final week of this half-term we have loved all the hearts and flowers that have appeared around the Nursery and the Pre-Prep today.

We also enjoyed our inspection scrutiny. Thank you to all our parents who shared their feedback or took time out of busy schedules to meet with one of the Inspection team. Along with our inspections, Year two had a visit from one of our Governors; Ian Moncrieff at the start of the week. Ian joined Mrs Brodie’s class to see the children’s learning in the last year of the Pre-Prep. Ian spent the afternoon observing lessons in the Prep school as well as observing the younger children. Taunton school is supported by a very committed Governing body, working incredibly hard to support the outcomes for all our children here.

Thank you to the sports staff for the afternoon of multi sports on Thursday. I was incredibly excited to see the mixed teams, along with the skills the children are developing in their PE lessons. Thank you so much to all the parents for providing the tracksuits. The children now look well prepared for their next away festival.

For those of you heading off for a quick break, whether it be hot, cold or just recharging the batteries, I hope that your week is enjoyable and that Storm Dennis is not too much of a menace!

Head of Nursery and Pre-Prep
