Taunton School has invested in a Covid-safe chemical-free cleaning system that places pupil and staff safety at the heart of its strategy.
The system is provided by innovative company Purozo, founded by Alex Speak and his father in 2018, a former Taunton School student who left in 2014. Alex’s company offers eco-friendly cleaning products centred around a solution that is often referred to as ‘magic water’ and is more effective than bleach yet free from chemicals.
Alex Speak states:
“Taunton School was the first school in the UK to invest in this robust cleaning system, now with further developments they have made the school even safer for staff and students.
“At the heart of the cleaning system is the use of Stabilised Aqueous Ozone (SAO™) made entirely from water. Water is infused with volts of electricity, converting the oxygen in the water from O2 to O3, creating aqueous ozone – a highly effective and environmentally friendly cleaning solution, killing up to 99.999% of harmful bacteria and viruses without the use of toxic chemicals.
“Used just like a normal chemical cleaner, SAO is multi-purpose and can replace up to 90% of chemical cleaning products, whilst being 50% more effective than bleach. These revolutionary products offer a truly unique cleaning solution like nothing else on the market.”
With the Covid-safe strategy in mind the School has invested in three of Purozo’s most powerful products to ensure a market leading and comprehensive cleaning and sanitising system, meaning Covid-free zones everywhere in the school. Amongst the trilogy system is Purozo’s latest product innovations, Zoono, and Storm, uniting as a formidable force against Covid-19.
Zoono is booming in the UK; its innovative antimicrobial shield is perfect for high-risk areas and common touchpoints. Once applied the solution acts as a shield for 30 days, killing bacteria and viruses before the next person touches. It is tested and proven to kill surrogate Covid-19, offering Taunton School a Covid-safe cleaning strategy.
The Storm is a state-of-the-art cleaning device, which has been designed during the Covid-19 pandemic specifically to combat viruses. The product is a spraying solution applied from a high-powered nozzle and backpack, meaning Taunton School can use this product daily to sanitize all areas and vehicles. These products are being used by businesses around the globe, including London North Eastern Railway (LNER), to keep their staff and passengers as safe as possible.
