The school is continuing its support of the junior division of Taunton Deane Cricket Club.
Taunton School is continuing its partnership with Taunton Deane Cricket Club, which began in 2013, as it extends its sponsorship for a further five years.
The club’s youth section has grown to more than 200 players and nine youth teams. There are 60 aspiring cricketers on the under-11 coaching course which introduces youngsters to the game before they progress onto the youth squads.
Pete Sanderson, Director of Cricket, at Taunton School says; “I am delighted that we are continuing our association with Taunton Deane Cricket Club which has a brilliant junior programme. We are very happy to support the opportunities they offer talented young cricketers in our local community.”
