Prep Pupils Achieve Exceptional Results at Taunton Drama Festival

Taunton Prep School pupils had a fantastic week at the Taunton Drama Festival last week. Throughout the festival, the standard of performance was very high, and every one of our TPS pupils represented the school beautifully.

Over the week, 39 Speech and Drama students from Years 3-8 entered into a variety of solo acting, duologue acting, prepared improvisation and poetry categories, with several of our older students performing in more than one category. All of our students brought home a certificate with everyone receiving marks of Merit and above, including Commended (80-82/100), Honours (85-89/100), Outstanding (90-94/100) and Exceptional (95-100/100).

It was lovely to see so many pupils have the opportunity to get on stage and perform their pieces to a real live audience. Every student left the stage smiling and glad they had performed.

A massive congratulations is deserved by everyone who took part in the 2024 Taunton Drama Festival and we would like to say a huge thank you to everyone for your support in the lead up to festival.
