Students win first place at National British Shooting Championships

Students performed exceptionally at the National British Shooting Championships in Staffordshire, with our Junior team coming 1st in the UK and our Senior team and Youth team coming 2nd!

We had some fantastic individual successes too, with Teddy ranking 4th in the country, Eloise ranking 5th, and Rufus ranking 7th.

TPS Director of Sport, Shaun Winsor, said: “It is an amazing achievement by all the teams, and their coach, to achieve these results at the recent National finals. This success really does reflect the hours of training every student has given to this discipline.”

The 2024-25 championships consisted of eight regional qualifying rounds across England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland, so getting to the national finals was no mean feat in itself.
