OTS enjoy golf experience in ‘The Westy’

In February, members of the OT Golf Society were joined by TS Head of Golf, Lee Dempster and golf pro, Lee Corfield for a sporting experience in the school’s new golf simulator, ‘The Westy’. The group chose to play the famous Pebble Beach course.

Generously donated by an OT in memory of Iain Westwater (Evans, 1973-1982), ‘The Westy’ strengthens the school’s golf provision immeasurably, allowing pupils and the wider school community to practice their skills on some of the best courses around the world. The simulator also provides students with a space to benefit from lessons by our in-house golf professional and get ready for the range of tournaments they take part in each year
