Leave a gift in your will

Legacies create futures

Taunton School is humbled and grateful for the generosity of past pupils, teachers and friends who have given a gift to the school in their will.

Since 2002, the school has received almost £4 million in donations which allow us to keep improving the campus as well as provide means-tested Assisted Places. So far, legacies received have supported building projects like the transformation of the Theatre, replacing the Chapel organ, creating the Durrant pitch, as well as giving the opportunity of a Taunton School education to nearly a hundred pupils, who otherwise could never afford to attend.

The 1847 Society is an exclusive group of supporters who indicated their intention to honour the charitable aims of the school by leaving a gift in their will. Membership is free and members will be invited to annual events and receive special updates from the school.

We recognise that including the school in your will is a deeply personal decision and we will respect your wishes. To discuss any aspect of giving or to join the 1847 Society then please contact the Foundation Team on 01823 703159 or email jack.clark@tauntonschool.co.uk.

To include a gift in your will you may need the following information:
