All members of the Taunton School community and their guests are invited to join us to celebrate Anthony’s impactful two years as President of the OTA. As well as putting in a huge amount of work behind the scenes, Anthony has attended OT and school events around the UK and the Middle East. In the last year he has organised events in London, relaunching the London Club Dinner and hosting an informal drinks reception for our younger OTs. It will be a fantastic opportunity to thank Anthony for all his hard work and a chance to welcome his successor, Victoria Price (1978, Weirfield).

We are delighted that the special guest speaker at the dinner will be Sir Peter Westmacott (Foxcombe, 1964-1968) who will be discussing ‘The World Today’. During his 43-year diplomatic career, Sir Peter was British Ambassador to the United States, as well as France and Turkey. His career took him to Iran before the 1979 revolution, saw him become Deputy Private Secretary to the then HRH the Prince of Wales and take up a secondment at the European Commission in Brussels.
