Taunton School is over 170 years old and is an Independent School for approximately 1000 boys and girls aged 0-18 years, with circa 300 boarders. We aim to challenge, inspire and nurture young people to succeed in a global community.

We are seeking to appoint a qualified Electrician to join the School’s Maintenance team. The role will involve carrying out a variety of electrical tasks in a timely and effective manner across the School site for which you will be required to efficiently organise your own materials and resources. You will also operate to existing quality procedures and will carry out all works accurately, safely and in accordance with appropriate guidelines and regulations. The successful candidate will be an excellent skilled tradesperson and it is essential that you are qualified to C&G 2360, 2330, 2356 or 2357 and 17 edition Regulations as well as holding a C&G Test and Inspect qualification. Up to date knowledge of all applicable current guidelines and regulations is necessary for this role and a PAT qualification would be desirable.
