Hours per week: 40 hours per week,

Salary: Dependent on experience.

Contract: Permanent

Taunton School are recruiting an Events and Catering Coordinator who will bring drive, enthusiasm and a ‘can do’ attitude to the role. The post holder will be responsible for managing the effective and timely delivery of a wide range of external events from conferences, weddings, balls and dinners, to internal meetings, sports teas, productions and parties, as well as overseeing the daily operation of the School dining rooms. This role will be both varied and exciting.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and organisational skills, be a good team player, and be willing to take on responsibility and new skills. A hands-on approach to work is essential as the role is expected to be equally responsible for managing staff and resources to provide a high standard of service, whilst being able to personally co-ordinate and deliver full operational services.

Purpose of the Job:

To manage all internal and external events, ensure the successful operation of the dining rooms, and support the ongoing development of the Taunton School events and catering programme.
