Job Title: Graduate Resident Assistant (GRA)
Salary: £10,000 per annum full board accommodation
Fixed term: 1 Academic year

We have an exciting opportunity for a new graduate available at Taunton School International from September 2018.
This one year residential post provides valuable pastoral support within the boys’ boarding house, as well as in PE lessons and to the administration staff. It is an exciting opportunity for graduates considering a career in education in the UK or internationally to experience a year in the life of this energetic, forward-looking and outstanding School.
We are looking for a candidate with a specialism in PE/Games for the next academic year. The candidate will play an important role in helping to deliver the boys’ PE curriculum.
We aim to offer our GRAs a memorable year working with lively and interesting students within a flourishing co-educational environment. The School will provide full board accommodation in an on-site boarding house during term time. You will also have access to a gym and swimming pool on site, and in this paid role you will also have opportunities for continuing professional development and training. Our GRAs are assigned a mentor for their year, who will provide advice on professional development and working with students both in the classroom and the boarding house.
This experience provides a platform for various career progressions paths; many of our GRAs are accepted on Teacher Training courses and we have an excellent record in universities such as Exeter and Durham.
