A perfect day for expending energy!Wednesday, January 24, 2018
This Sunday, six junior students from Taunton School International Middle School (TSIMS) combined forces with the Prep School on a whirlwind adventure to Exeter Clip ‘n’ Climb. With terrible weather outside, it was the perfect indoor getaway to expend some energy. As bright eyes, wide smiles and a feeling of intense anticipation filled the hall, the children furiously climbed up the challenging courses before hurling themselves from the top of the walls. A highlight for the group was the stairway to heaven – a stairway climb free of the walls with no supports – which allowed many an acrobatic and elaborate jump to be had from its summit. The climb was followed with a refreshing and well-earned ice cream in the centre’s café and then a sleepy drive back to Taunton…for the weary passengers.
