Art, Theatre and Waterparks for TSIMSFriday, June 14, 2019
This weekend was a busy one at The Grange with students off and about on trips and busy with activities at school. On Sunday 18 of the students headed to Paignton in Devon, to Splashdown Waterpark where the students rode rubber rings through the raging rapids and surf lagoon. Those brave enough plunged down a 65ft slide on the Devil’s Drop. Back at school Mr Ngo and his tutor group worked hard washing cars in order to raise money for charity and Mr Eksteen and the remaining students got creative, producing pieces of artwork in the Dining Room. One of our new students this half term, Nik, produced a lovely picture of a dinosaur. In the evening, Ramon, Linda, Mohammed and Rakhym made their acting debut in the performance of ‘Into the Woods’ at The Warehouse theatre in Ilminster with many of the students making the trip from school with Mr Morris and Mrs Lamb to support their peers. We were impressed with all the performers with the hard work they had put in over the course of the term paying off.
