PRINCIPAL OF TAUNTON SCHOOL INTERNATIONAL INTRODUCES NEW SUMMER SCHOOL COURSES
I would like to tell you about our exciting new summer school courses that we are introducing this year. Not only are we running our highly regarded three-week Academic Summer Programme for Juniors (7 – 12) and Seniors (13 – 17), we have launched:
- Junior Multi-Sports
- Science, Technology & Engineering
- GCSE & Sixth Form Pre-Sessional
The Junior Multi Sports Programme is a two-week course in which the students will receive 15 hours of English per week as well as try a different sport each day. For the Seniors, we are introducing a two-week Science, Technology and Engineering programme in which students receive 3 hours of English tuition per day as well as two hours of hands-on practical Science, Technology and Engineering work. Our GCSE and Sixth Form Pre-sessionals are 10 day courses designed to give students a boost before joining a GCSE, A Level or International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma.
There are so many Summer Schools to choose from but the features of our summer school programmes separate us from the crowd. For example, our range of courses are run by our own staff and with our own teachers, which means we can maintain the quality of provision that students get on the year-round programme. Our class sizes are small, our nationality mix diverse and we have wonderful facilities at our disposal, including state of the art ICT suites and Design & Technology workshops, a theatre, art studios, music school, two swimming pools, three sports halls, numerous tennis courts, squash courts, Olympic-sized hockey pitch, modern fitness suite and over 20 acres of sports pitches. We pride ourselves on delivering a highly educational, fun and action-packed summer programme for all our children and we know that when they return home, they have a great deal to talk about, and not just in their own language!
All our courses are proving extremely popular and so I would encourage you to book early to avoid disappointment! Click here for more information about Summer School.
