Taunton School Main Building at Dusk

Performing Arts Week

Posted: 11th October 2018

As part of Performing Arts Week, Nursery 3, 4 and Reception enjoyed a storytelling production, combining puppetry, movement, ballet and music. The children were mesmerised and enjoyed joining in with part of the story through movement with ribbons to music. The children were also asked after the performance, to think about how the story had made them feel. As I am sure you can imagine, many of the children had lots to say.
As I enjoy the end of this beautiful sunny Wednesday, it does not feel quite right to be talking about warmer clothing. However, the forecast is for more changeable weather. Could I therefore please remind you that as we face cooling temperatures and a more unsettled period, please could you ensure that your child has wellies and a school coat in school every day.
Finally, please have a look at the pictures from Clive Pigs’ visit to Year 2 below. What an Inspirational storyteller!
