 Taunton School invites you to attend a TEDx event on 'The essence of a changing world'.

TEDx is an independently organised TED event and takes place on Thursday, 12th October 2017 from 2pm to 5pm in the School Theatre.

The following topics will be presented by staff and students:

"Success is as easy as ABC" - Mr Edward Burnett, Deputy Head 
"In defence of Presentism" - Abbie Casson
"EconoME: Why money can't buy happiness" - Nina Porter
"Why it matters how we kill"- Mr Gallimore, Teacher of History
"The Social Awakening of Shareholder Value"- Anna Bray
"The greatest threat to human existence"- Tia Hawkins
”a perspective on global warming"- Dr James Penny, Head of Science
"The unheard"- Kira Lewis
"How has the concept of power changed since the 16th century?"- Sophie Bray
