Is VR the new learning revolution?

Posted: 25th January 2017

Today, we, the IB English B Higher Level course had the opportunity to work with Virtual Reality glasses as part of our core topic, Technology and Communication. There is little doubt that virtual reality will influence many aspects of our everyday life, but to what extent can virtual reality affect our studies?

We talked about the opportunities that VR glasses offer and we are convinced that they could have many benefits related to our school subjects. Although technology is already highly developed, virtual reality glasses could improve lessons even further. For example, in history VR could help students to explore ancient cities and places such as the Versailles Palace or the old city of Rome.

VR glasses were great fun to use in class and we are really excited to see how they will change our way of studying.
