Round-the-clock at TSI
This weekend saw students from TSI involved in a number of extra curricular activities. Last Friday five of our students took to the stage to dazzle an audience at the Rogers and Hammerstein Concert. Playing a range of music that spanned the lives of these two musical greats our students had a truly fantastic time playing to a sold out audience in the Orchestra, Dance Band, Wind Band and Community choir.
Following the previous night’s success, TSI students enjoyed English theatre at its very best as they travelled to Bristol to see ‘War Horse’ on Saturday. 'War Horse' can claim 8 record-breaking years in London’s West End and performances in 11 countries around the world to over 7 million people. The students were taken on an extraordinary journey from the fields of rural Devon to the trenches of First World War France, in awe of the phenomenal puppetry and joys of great English drama.
A number of TSI students experienced success within their sports teams on Saturday with particular focus on the rugby 3rds who played hard and fought to the end winning by a single point. Claiming their victory they added further success to the weekend. The weekend was concluded with a full school turn out for the Remembrance Day chapel service, in which all students wore their poppies proudly to show their support for the past and present armed forces members across the world.
