We are delighted to announce the appointment of the new Head of Taunton Pre-Preparatory School and Nursery to succeed Mrs Kathy McLauchlan. Following a rigorous appointment process with high quality candidates, many of whom were current Heads, Mrs Louise Leah has been appointed to lead our School and Nursery in the next exciting stage of its development.
Louise is the current Head of Reception and Nursery at Kingswood School in Bath. Prior to that, Louise built from scratch, and then ran for 10 years, her own very successful Nursery called BabyGrows in Gillingham, Dorset. At Kingswood School, Louise has been playing a major role on the Senior Management Team for the Prep School and she brings a wealth of experience in a variety of different educational environments, including being an assessor of trainee teachers for Bath Spa University and working as a teacher at Clayesmore Senior School in Dorset.
Louise was inspired by the opportunity to lead our thriving Pre-prep and Nursery and to build on the first class educational experience and happy environment already enjoyed by our children. She is very much looking forward to meeting parents, pupils and staff over the coming months, before taking up her post in September 2018.

During the time that I have already spent at the school, I have been incredibly impressed with both the pupils and staff, and I am very much looking forward to meeting everyone over the forthcoming months.”
