TSI visit Thorpe Park and the Eden Project
The last full week of the half-term at Taunton School International has been an incredibly busy one. To start off the week Tamane took part in the Concerto Concert Competition, playing a fabulous piece on the piano which resulted in her winning! Tamane has worked incredibly to get to this position and we are incredibly proud of her and her achievements!
In the rugby, the Senior Colts B (U16B) had an outstanding win home to Heathfield College, winning 38-22. Paulius, Timo, Yanis, Alfred and Kevin played amazingly and were happy to finish the half term on such a great win!
Following student feedback last year, it was asked that the TSI students attend a weekend residential together within their boarding houses. This feedback has been taken into account and the Foxcombe girls headed to the Eden Project, whilst the Foxcombe boys house ventured to Thorpe Park. The girl’s trip to the Eden project involved lots of fun adrenaline activities including the longest zip wire in England, as well as ice skating and exploring the biomes of the Eden Project! Meanwhile, the boys enjoyed the excitement of fright night at Thorpe Park, experiencing the thrills of the Halloween themed rides and attractions throughout the weekend. Both houses returned to TSI following their weekend, tired but happy and ready to tackle house singing in the last two days of half term!
