Assisted Places

At Taunton School, we believe high-quality education should be available to as many children as possible and we pride ourselves on offering a range of Assisted Places to talented pupils every year.

Scholarships for Students aged 11+ (Year 7 Entry)

We recognise talent with a variety of scholarship categories for entry into Year 7 in Academic, Sports, Art, Music, Dance, Drama and Design & Technology.  Candidates may apply for up to two categories of scholarship.

As a scholar at Taunton Prep School, pupils will have access to all of our scholarship enrichment and extension activities for their scholarship category, which will be applicable throughout their education at Taunton School to the end of Sixth Form. We recognise talent with a variety of scholarships for entry into Year 9: Academic, Sports, Art, Music, Drama, Design & Technology and Computer Science.

Scholarships for Students aged 16+ (Sixth Form Entry)

We offer Academic, Music, Drama, Art, Sport, Design Technology, Computer Science and All Rounder Scholarships to candidates for entry into Sixth Form in Year 12. Our support recognises the scholar’s outstanding ability, but also confers certain responsibilities to the school community on the individual – please view our brochure for more information. Scholarships for the International Baccalaureate (Sixth Form Entry)

Every year we offer means-tested International Baccalaureate Scholarships covering up to 100% of the total fees. This is made possible thanks to philanthropist Ian Evans Lombe.

How can I apply for a scholarship at Taunton School?

If you are interested in applying for a scholarship at Taunton School, please complete an application form, or if you have more questions get in touch by completing our online enquiry form below.

As part of your application, you will be asked to provide key documents including previous school reports and supporting evidence – it is important that you supply all the information required so that we are able to process your application.
