During the transition from Prep to Senior School, the Year 9-11 curriculum covers the core subjects, which are Art, Biology, Chemistry, English, Geography, History, Physics, Religious Studies, Computing and ICT, Maths, PSHEE and PE. One modern foreign language from German, French or Spanish must also be studied.
Pupils in Year 9 also choose one subject from each of the additional two study blocks, which include EAL, Extra Maths/English, a second foreign language, Design Technology, Drama, Latin, Classical Civilisation and Music.
Years 10-11 – GCSE
In Years 10 and 11, core subjects for GSCE and iGSCE include English Language, English Literature, Maths, Religious Studies, Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Modern Foreign Languages.
Pupils are also encouraged to choose at least one Humanities subject, such as Geography or History, and at least one Creative Arts subject, such as Art, Drama, Music or Design Technology.
Other GCSE option subjects include Business, Classical Civilisation, French, German, Computing and ICT, Economics, Latin, PE, Religious Studies and Spanish.
Sixth Form – A Levels, BTEC or IB Diploma
As pupils progress to the Sixth Form, the curriculum offers a wide and varied choice of subjects and courses including A Levels, the IB Diploma and BTECs.
