At Taunton School we believe in finding the best academic pathway for each and every child. To this end, whilst elements of our GCSE curriculum are compulsory for all, impressive breadth and optionality is also available. The vast majority of our students will study nine GCSEs so that we can concentrate on the quality of grade as opposed to quantityof subjects. We are one of the few schools in the country to offer three separate Sixth Form academic routes (A-Level, International Baccalaureate and BTEC) and parents can expect the same flexibility and balance in our approach to the GCSE curriculum.
