Elisabeth grew up in Bridgwater where she attended school and college. She went on to train as a legal secretary and worked for law firms in the Somerset area.

After moving to Bristol, Elisabeth worked in administration and office management within the fields of family law and therapeutic support for families, adoptive parents and foster carers.  During this time, Elisabeth undertook a degree in International Business at the University of Glamorgan. Following this busy time, Elisabeth decided to embark on a new adventure and teach English as a foreign language in Tokyo, Japan. It is was here that she discovered a passion for teaching and was able to embrace different cultures, food and ways of life.  This also opened the door to many more exciting travel opportunities.  Whilst living abroad, Elisabeth studied the TEFL qualification and upon returning to the UK, completed the Cambridge CELTA qualification as well.   This enabled her to teach English in Italy and within a summer school in the UK.

Following her teaching experience abroad, Elisabeth was then inspired to undertake primary teacher training in the UK and achieved a PGCE from University of Worcester. She then went on to teach within primary schools in the Somerset area.

Elisabeth helps to plan and coordinate the Summer School and Pre-Sessional course. She enjoys arranging trips and activities for the students and ensuring they have a really exciting and fulfilling experience at the Summer School. She has worked with many different nationalities over the years and so can support parents, agents and guardians with ease.  Elisabeth also assists the Admissions Team with enquiries and the registration process.
