Justine came from the North-East of England and made her first move to London where she studied French and English literature at King’s College London. After a short spell in the commercial world after college, Justine moved into teaching EFL, first in the UK and then abroad in Indonesia, Hong Kong and France, mainly teaching Business English and younger learners.
Justine returned to the UK to further her qualifications and settled in Cambridge, teaching English and Business Studies GCSE in an international independent school and enjoying 5 years as a Girls’ Boarding Housemistress. Moving to the South-West, Justine was thrilled to become part of the team at Taunton School International in 2009 teaching GCSE English, IELTS and pre-GCSE Business Studies and thoroughly enjoyed contributing her experience and enthusiasm to the talented and dedicated teaching team there.
In September 2012, in tandem with her teaching at TSI, Justine took on the new role of PSHE provider at Taunton School International Middle School, relishing the opportunity to work together once again with younger students to make their first experiences of British Boarding School life as happy, rewarding and fulfilling as possible. At the end of this year, Justine was pleased to be offered the role of English and PSHCE teacher at TSIMS and was based there from September 2013 until this academic year.
Returning to teach EAL and GCSE ESL at TSI this year, she is keen to deliver the new IGCSE ESL syllabus and contribute once again to the dynamic English Department while offering academic and pastoral support in her role as a tutor.
