Philip has strong international credentials, he was born in Belgium and attended a European School until age 18. He studied for an M.Chem. degree with Industrial Experience at the University of Edinburgh before undertaking an internship in Research and Development at the European Commission in Brussels. Following extensive world travel and volunteer conservation work in Thailand he returned to the UK, where he obtained a PGCE in chemistry at Bristol University.

Philip joins Taunton School International with 11 years teaching experience, including seven years in the state sector, where he taught all the sciences and chemistry to A-level and teaching science and maths at Blundell’s School in Devon. He is passionate about his subject and looks forward to the new challenge of teaching and working with international students.
