Born in Hemel Hempstead but raised on a small island called Bermuda, Toby is no stranger to learning about and understanding different cultures and beliefs. Toby lived in Bermuda up until he was 13 years old before attending Giggleswick School in North Yorkshire. During his time at school, Toby participated and competed in a wide array of sports, including rugby, hockey, tennis, golf, swimming, squash and outdoor pursuits as well as undertaking the role of Head of House in his final year at school. It was here where his passion for coaching and teaching sprouted, leading him to study Sport and PE at Cardiff Metropolitan University where he graduated with a 2:1 with honours in July.

Prior to going to university, Toby underwent a gap year where he became a Level 3 personal trainer and spent 5 months in Switzerland training to become a Level 2 Ski Instructor. These experiences presented him with more opportunities to delve into his passion for coaching and teaching.

Now at Taunton School International, he is looking forward to developing these skills in the boarding house, classroom and the field.
