FAQs For Summer School

  • Do you provide airport transfers?

Yes, we do! Please book flights to either Bristol or Heathrow airport, on any of our arrival/departure Saturdays between 9:00 – 18:00 and we will arrange your transfers*. We will also have someone at the arrivals lounge ready to meet you, and also to help you with check-in on your departure!

Please note that we only provide transfer for students attending the course, and are unable to provide transport for their family or agents.

*Please note that we do not provide transfers for students on the Pre-Sessional Course.

  • Are there any extra costs?

Our fees truly are all-inclusive – we do not have any extras or any hidden surprises.

  • Can you help with Visa Support?

Of course! Once your fees are paid, we can provide a Visa Support letter to help with your visa application process.

  • Can I change Courses?

Our courses are built around a 2-week format. If a student decides they want to change courses once they have arrived, we will require written permission from their parents and will do our best to accommodate changes, as long as we have space. Please note changes will only be possible in the first 3-days of the course to avoid disruption to classes.

  • What if I am already fluent in English?

You are welcome to still join us if you are fluent in English – our new Advanced English Classes will be perfect for you! Theses English lessons are designed to challenge even native English speakers through developing your use of language through Literature, Essay Writing, Poetry and Debate – to name a few!

  • Can I stay for 3 or 5 Weeks?

Our courses are run in blocks of 2-weeks, however a 3 or 5-week stay is something we would be able to accommodate.

To avoid starting midday through a course (when classes have already been created, and students have already started to create their new friendships), students would need to arrive at the beginning of either Summer School 1, or Summer School 2.

This means they will benefit from the proper Summer School Induction, be put in the most suitable classes for their levels and get to meet all the new students who will also be arriving on that day.

We would advise that students select a different course for the 3rd or 5th week.

All are designed around a 2-week programme; however, some are more suitable than other for a 1-week programme. For example: STEM, Performing Arts, Future Business Leaders, and Cookery are 2-week projects, whereas the Academic, Enrichment English, Tennis, Football and Multisports are also suitable for 1-week courses.

  • What is your phone policy?

Please see our Summer School Rules and Behaviour Policy here, which outlines our phone policy.
