For their celebrations topic this term, the Reception children have been learning about the Hindu festival of light, Diwali. They hosted a Diwali day where the everybody participated in various Diwali activities, including dressing up, making peacocks, designing henna patterns and creating beautiful rangoli patterns using coloured sand and tissue paper. It was a great day and everyone learnt a lot about the Hindu tradition.
