The boarders of Thone House have started the new school year on fine form. The atmosphere in the house has been happy and vibrant and the children have provided a warm welcome to the new members of our boarding family. Games of ‘capture the flag’, ‘kwik cricket’, ‘tag rugby’, ‘football’ and ‘swimming’ have filled our evenings and the children have taken great delight in walking our new Thone House pet, Rocco! A fabulous day at Brean Leisure Park, at the weekend, provided the perfect opportunity for us all to spend quality time together in a fun filled atmosphere. The children even managed to convince Mrs Whitehouse to take on the terror of ‘Magic Mouse’! A house pizza night completed our first action packed weekend with Mr Rousell taking the crown for the most pizza eaten in one sitting (ever)! Certainly never a dull moment in Thone but we wouldn’t have it any other way. Roll on next week!
