Exeat last weekend saw the majority of the children spending time with families, friends and guardians off-campus for a couple of days. We had a few overseas children staying in Thone and it was an opportunity to embrace the space from the usual hustle and bustle that comes with a thriving boarding house. Pausing from the usual weekend routines, both in the school and the house, has allowed us all to feel somewhat refreshed, rejuvenated and ready for the final weeks of the term. We had a ‘photo-free’ weekend, which was welcomed by the children – therefore, please instead enjoy the ‘Boarding in Thone House’ acrostic that was jointly written by Kylie, Haydn and Vadim. The children returned to the house in high spirits and are very much looking forward to next weekend’s beach walk and activities at Lyme Regis – hopefully, the weather will be kind to us!
