International students in Upper Sixth at Taunton School have received a number of offers to the UK’s top 20 universities, or Russell Group universities.
This year’s international cohort will be attending universities including King’s College London, University College London, Leeds, Loughborough, Bath, Exeter, Southampton and St Georges University London.
Offers include courses in Accounting, Finance, Engineering, Politics, Mathematics, Business Management, Biomedical Science, Ecology and Zoology.
Elsewhere, three students attending Taunton School’s dedicated international school have also become the first cohort to complete a unique two-year course, which guarantees a place at leading universities in the UK and overseas.
Tricey Agbolu from Ghana and Paul Paclot from France and Jarry Wang from China have completed the International Foundation Year (IFY) course with a 100 per cent pass rate. The course was officially launched at Taunton last year.
They have now received offers from prestigious UK universities including University of Kent and University of Reading as well as Canadian universities HEC Montreal and University of Montreal.
Students at Taunton School receive support from a dedicated Careers and Higher Education Department, working with individual students to lead them through the application processes for their chosen post sixth form pathway.
