A team of three Taunton Prep School students have placed 2nd in the country in the IntoTri Cornish Triathlon Series.
Taunton Prep School Year 5 and 6 students JJ, Ben and Will have been competing all over the South West in the series, which features students from over 100 other schools across the UK.
The series culminated with an open water triathlon in Falmouth on Sunday 26th September. The boys ended the series in style finishing 1st, 4th and 8th place despite some difficult swimming conditions.
With four wins from four events JJ secured a series win in the 9-10 category with Will fourth overall and Ben 6th in the 11-12 age group.
The boys were delighted to hear that their combined efforts had secured a second place finish for Taunton Prep School in the schools category.
The boys have demonstrated strength, determination and comradery throughout, representing the school with great pride. Their achievements are even more impressive given that they are each a year young for their age category.
