Taunton School Main Building at Dusk

Another busy week in Pre-Prep

Posted: 10th March 2017

Micro habitats, speech and drama exams, space bubbles, stations, planets and clay dragons! Another busy week in Pre-Prep.

Thank you for last week! During our inspection and as always your children were exemplary and so were you. Thank you very much for all your kind feedback and comments. We are really pleased with our feedback and can’t wait to share the full reports and outcomes with you when the time comes.

This week I have done some fabulous Learning Walks. Learning Walks, I hear you say? These are walks in and out of the classrooms to observe classroom practice and to talk to the children about their learning. In order to explain the process further I hope the surrounding photographs will give you a flavour of Year 2, 3 and 4’s work this week. We use the evidence that looks at different learning themes to discuss and share best practice. We also use it to monitor the curriculum and moderate pupil achievement.
