Dr Ian Kelham was for 23 years a local GP as well as being involved in GP education as an Associate Postgraduate Dean of the School of Primary Care in Bristol. He continues to work to support the Covid 19 vaccination programme. He was, until 2021, an Assistant Medical Director of NHS England in the Southwest with involvement in performance concerns as well as the pastoral care of GPs. He is also a trustee of two other Somerset charities as well as being a Deputy Lieutenant of Somerset since 2021. Married to Penny, they have had two adult children who have really enjoyed their time at Taunton School. Ian joined the Governing body in 2019.
Ian is the Governor responsible for Safeguarding.
